Detroit, MI — June 1st, 2026 — James Group Inc. (JGI), a leading provider of integrated automotive logistics, transportation, and supply chain solutions, today announced it has acquired EnovaPremier, LLC marking a significant milestone in its 55-year legacy of serving global automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
The acquisition extends James Group further beyond logistics and transportation into value-added tire and wheel assembly, adding sequencing- and assembly-to-line capabilities that complement its existing warehousing, consolidation, and shuttle operations. The combination gives automotive OEMs, a single integrated partner across a broader span of their supply chains.
Strengthening Capabilities Across the Automotive Value Chain
James Group Inc. now operates through three primary subsidiaries, collectively generating over $1 billion of revenue annually:
- Renaissance Global Logistics (RGL):
Manages Ford Motor Company’s global consolidation export program in Detroit and supports supplier risk and logistics operations for General Motors across multiple Michigan locations, in addition to providing comprehensive warehousing and logistics services for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. - Five Crowns Trucking (FCT):
Delivers dedicated transportation and shuttle services to a broad base of domestic OEM and supplier customers. - EnovaPremier (Enova):
An innovative leader in tire and wheel assembly for numerous automotive OEMs, including General Motors, Hyundai, and Toyota, with a nearly 20-year track record of excellence and superior customer service.
Continuity, Excellence, and Continuous Improvement
Going forward, EnovaPremier will operate under the leadership of Byron Meyer, now serving as President, ensuring operational continuity and preserving the high standards of service its OEM partners value, with Mike Crawford assuming a key role as an Advisor to the company. Existing programs, points of contact, and service commitments will remain in place, while customers gain access to the expanded capabilities and scale of the combined organization.
“EnovaPremier has built an exceptional reputation within the industry,” said Lorron James, Chief Executive Officer of James Group Inc. “By bringing EnovaPremier’s assembly expertise together with our logistics and transportation network, we can offer OEMs a single, integrated partner from inbound material to sequenced delivery at the line, while continuing the Kaizen-driven culture of continuous improvement our customers, including Toyota, expect. We are excited to expand our relationships with existing James Group customers, like General Motors, and develop deeper connections with EnovaPremier’s customers, such as Hyundai, though our strong combined platform.”
“Joining James Group lets our team do even more for the customers we serve,” said Byron Meyer of EnovaPremier. “We share a deep commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and together we can deliver greater value, capacity, and continuity to the OEMs that rely on us.”
JGI also recognizes the valuable leadership and contributions of Enova’s team, including Ed Rigaud and Mike Crawford, for establishing a culture of excellent performance, reliability, and customer commitment.
Positioned for the Future of Automotive Supply Chains
As the automotive industry undergoes rapid transformation, James Group continues to invest in capabilities that strengthen resilience, improve efficiency, and support OEMs across both production and non-production environments.
“We are deeply grateful for the trust Toyota has placed in James Group over the years,” added James. “As we enter this next chapter, we are excited to expand our support, identify new opportunities for collaboration, and continue delivering the consistency, reliability, and innovation our partners depend on.”
