
Lorron James, son of John A. James, joined James Group International in January 2007 as the marketing/sales manager. He assists in business development and serves as an integral part of the JGI team. His goal is to learn all aspects of the business.
Prior to moving back to his hometown of Detroit, MI, Mr. James lived in Phoenix, AZ where he worked as the community affairs coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks professional baseball team for three seasons. His responsibilities included various marketing initiatives and player programs.
Mr. James earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Arizona State University and is a graduate of Central Michigan’s Master of Science Administration International Business program.

Darnell Miller joined Motor City Express as the general manager in 2002. He is responsible for truckload transportation services. His primary focus is overseeing safety, quality, pricing, and pick-up and delivery on-time service. As a result of Mr. Miller's leadership skills and dedication, Motor City Express received the 2006 General Motors Supplier of the year award for Inbound Truckload Services.
Mr. Miller has 17 years of experience in the transportation industry. He began his career with Roadway Express in 1990 as a management trainee. He was promoted to operations manager with Roadway Express, before accepting the position of service center manager for Transfreight Logistics in 1998. In 2000 he accepted a position of manager of ground transportation for Eagle Global Logistic Air Freight. He joined Motor City Express in 2002.
Mr. Miller obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from Northwood University, Midland Michigan.
Ronald E. Butler
Executive Director of Administration
James Group International

Ronald E. Butler joined JGI in 2002. As the executive director of administration, he is responsible for Human Resources, Purchasing, Security and Litigation.
Prior to joining JGI, Mr. Butler was employed by DaimlerChrysler Corporation for over thirty years. He was hired in 1969 as a labor relations representative and over the years he held a number of positions with increased responsibility, including OSHA supervisor, labor relations supervisor, personnel manager. In 1989 he was promoted to senior manager of human resources.
Mr. Butler hold a bachelor's degree from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and a master's degree from the University of Phoenix.
